Chris Carter was a member of the "Fly Dressers Guild" for many years when he lived in England and was a past Secretary of the "Ouse Valley Branch" of the Fly Dressers Guild. During his time in the Guild he attended and demonstrated at many of the leading Country and Sporting Fairs throughout the UK. As well as spent much of his time demonstrating at many Fishing Club evenings.

Chris is available to demonstrate at Trade Fairs as well as any interested Fishing Club or Organisation which would enjoy an evening's entertainment in the art of tying both modern and traditional patterns. Chris has always been a believer in tying flies which are known as "fish catchers" rather than "fisherman catchers".........

Stop Press: You have the opportunity of meeting and seeing Chris Carter domonstrate at the "Sportfiskemässan" in Kista, Stockholm on the 23rd, 24th and 25th March 2012. Chris will be domonstrating a selection of patterns both Mayfly and Caddis from his trips to Yellowstone U.S.A. These patterns have proved to be equally successful here on our Swedish rivers. So don't miss this opportunity of seeing some new and exciting patterns.

During all the demonstrations, instructions will also be given as to the most effective and productive way each fly pattern should be fished to be successful.

Chris is a very proud member of "The Catskill Fly Tyers Guild" New York State, USA. The Catskill region was the birth place of American dry fly fishing and has a history in fly tying which cannot be equalled...... With names like Gordon, LaBranche, Detter, Darbee and Flick to name just a few.
